World Medical Association to investigate non-therapeutic circumcision

WESTPORT, Apr 26 (Reuters) - The World Medical Association
(WMA), a group of 63 national medical associations, just
concluded its annual council meeting in Geneva. The WMA took
a public stand on a number of issues of international
concern to physicians, including:

     - Male Circumcision: The WMA Council decided to
investigate the practice of routine medical circumcision of
male infants for nonreligious reasons.
